Beth Macri is a jewelry design company based in New York City. In 2015, they hired me to update their website with their new branding to bring in new customers and increase overall sales. They were looking to relocate their site to a more suitable e-commerce platform for their business, and we worked together to decide on Shopify. We implemented this platform, and immediately saw a revenue increase by 200% within the first month of launch, thanks to the user-friendly redesign and engaging look-and-feel execution based off of their brand work.
They had just refocused their brand with a new logo, color way and style guide. They wanted to completely overhaul their existing site, in order to showcase their new brand, as well as introduce some more robust functionality to promote more online sales.
I did research into various e-commerce websites, and after determining their business needs and requirements we landed on Shopify. I utilized their new look and feel, and designed the entire site along with a new sitemap and site structure. We strategized the best way to organize the products, and ideated a custom necklace creator.
I developed the theme for the site, codifying all of the styles and injecting custom elements where needed. We worked with another team to develop the custom necklace creator, using my logic and functionality.
Within a month of launching, the company saw a sales increase of more than 200%, thanks to the new design and e-commerce platform.
